“Nuvem-Solo, Solo-Nuvem was recorded at the NICS UNICAMP studio during a session organized by Manu Falleiros.
Saxophones and fiddle, unedited, with no effects (aside from the distortion from the amplifier’s valve), and no processing.
The name came from a note I made one day about improvisation, that improvising is like creating the conditions for a lightning bolt. It is never the lightning bolt itself, and nothing seems closer to acting upon the atmosphere than perhaps breathing, acting slowly upon space. Stretching a glowing string.”
